What is the Invisalign Technique?

The Invisalign technique is a method for repositioning your teeth using removable appliances. The dentist applies a template aligner to your teeth, using gentle pressure to apply the attachments. Next, he uses a special light to cure the material, and then he removes the aligner. He may use more than one attachment at a time if necessary.

Treatment objectives

Before you start treatment with Invisalign, your dentist will have to make a digital plan that is customized to your needs and goals. This plan will include a series of tests that your dentist will use to evaluate your smile and dental structure. These tests will allow the dentist to see which areas of your dental structure need to be improved. The dentist will also ask you a series of questions about your dental health.

Invisalign uses clear aligners to straighten your teeth. Unlike traditional braces, these aligners are virtually undetectable and will straighten your teeth over time. They are designed to be comfortable and you can wear them for as long as 22 hours each day. You can also remove them to brush your teeth or eat.

Attachments required

Invisalign works by using aligners that are removable and have little to no visible metal. However Reasonable Pricing for Invisalign, if the teeth you want to straighten are severe enough, they may need attachments. These attachments act as anchor points that help guide the aligners more precisely to the desired positions. These attachments are tooth-colored bumps that are bonded to the teeth using dental composite. They are used to guide the aligners and are commonly found on the back teeth.

While these attachments aren’t painful, they do make the aligners a little harder to remove. The attachments are bonded onto the teeth and then cured. However, it is important that you remove the attachments as instructed to avoid damaging your teeth.
